I'm a new client. How do I choose the best Head Spa?

I always suggest New Clients starting with the TRANSCEND so that we have plenty of time for Education and Zen time. Either way, you can’t go wrong and we can always customize the visit to best fit your needs!

Should I wash my hair before my appointment?

No need to shampoo before our session. This will give us a more accurate reading when looking at your scalp under the microscope.

Who is a Head Spa good for?

EVERYONE! Whether you have scalp related challenges or you’re just looking for a little TLC and a moment to zen out. These experiences are catered to your needs.

I have a scalp condition, is that okay?

If you are suffering from any number of scalp conditions (Dry/Oily Scalp, Dandruff, Eczema, etc.) Head Spa services are here to support you. Gabrielle will custom blend herbs to support the healing of your scalp and make sure you have access to the appropriate at-home care to keep up with your experience.

Can I receive a Head Spa if I have extensions?

Yes. I highly recommend the TRANSCEND experience so we have plenty of time for education, zen, and styling. If stying isn’t important to you, the other options are

YES! Absolutely! All hair lengths, textures and densities can receive a Head Spa.

Can men receive a Head Spa?

Yes! These experiences are for everyone with a scalp. Gabrielle analyzes the scalp during each appointment and customizes each experience based off every individuals needs.

I am bald, can I receive a Head Spa?

Yes! These experiences are for anyone with a scalp! Whether that is to promote hair growth or to honor deep relaxation.

I am going through chemo, can I receive a Head Spa?

Yes! These experiences are for anyone with a scalp! Whether that is to promote hair growth or to honor deep relaxation. Gabrielle will always customize a herbal scalp treatment that honors your sensitivities.

How should I prepare for my head spa appointment?

Make sure necklaces, earrings, and hoodies are removed before your service.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Please arrive in cozy loose clothes. (NO HOODIES) You’re welcome to bring socks and slippers as the room can get chilly! If you are receiving the TRANSCEND experience - make sure to wear a shirt with a loose fitting neckline, this will give you the best experience during Gua Sha.

Can multiple people get serviced at once?

GEMPIRE does plan to expand in the future. However, at this time Gabrielle serves one guest at a time in an intimate one on one studio environment. (Ex. If you would like to secure Head Spa Experiences for you and your besties, they will have to be scheduled one after another, rather than the same time)
